Wow, no strings and held just by the bridge!! Don’t try this at home kids! As you can see from the photo, our Patent Issued System II Bridges secure completely and solidly to your guitar, even without strings. If your guitar has the old version of bridge and tailpiece hardware, there is no way you could hold the entire guitar just by the bridge. The important thing to note is that a loose or even slightly wiggling bridge is the arch enemy of any player who wants great sound. If your bridge can wiggle at all when the strings are off, most professionals know that it is almost impossible to keep your intonation perfect after about the second time you tune your guitar. Thats because the bridge will move if it can with the pull of the strings. It may be only a small amount, but does a quarter of a turn on your bridge saddle screws make a difference? Sure it does, and the only way to have perfect ringing harmonics and intonation is to completely secure and solidify your bridge in place before you adjust it. Thats where TonePros® comes in! Don’t be one of the players who spend thousands on vintage or new instruments only to find the frustration of having a guitar that won’t play and stay in tune perfectly and is in need of constant readjustment after a changing of strings. TonePros® has become successful by helping players get the most out of their instruments, let us make your guitar world a better place by making your guitar the best that it can be!
You’ll also see a shot of the entire guitar without strings being held completely by the tailpiece. Of course the old version of hardware will not allow this either, only our new Patent Issued TonePros® Components make this possible. The great thing is that our hardware doesn’t look any different from the stock hardware on your guitar because we start with stock (made in the same factory, OEM) hardware when we build our components. The only visual difference are the two small black adjustment “dots” that are barely detectable, its the sound that will make you sit back and take notice. Actually, every guitar pictured on this site with standard hardware is fitted with System II Components, it is just not visually possible to tell, unless you take the strings off like the pictures above!!
